Our founder and director, Dr. Dell Belew, has more than 40 years of experience as a minister, artist, English professor, writer, workshop leader, and public speaker.

Dell's passions began as early as ten years old when she lined up her imaginary students before a sheet metal wall in the family storage room and tapped with a stick to the imaginary lessons written there. In high school, the romantic teenager spent time in class at the back of the room writing stories that were as mysterious as they were romantic.

Her love for art also started early to beckon her forward when she stood in a local discount store and oooo'd and ahhhhhh'd at the brightly colored paintings, wondering how in the world anyone could do that! Then one day she was in another discount store when a set of oil paint and brushes simply jumped off the shelf and into her hands. She took possession of that which was possessing her and that was the beginning of a long-running love affair with paint and canvases. All of her gifts and talents came together and blossomed after she made Jesus Christ the Lord of her life and the Creator became her inspiration for all things creative.

The ministry does not have a bricks and mortar location per se, so initial interaction is primarily online.

I do set up live seminars, workshops, and lecture events in many areas. Learn about those under "Services."

See www.dellbelew.com for more complete information about my workshops and classes.

Please see the contact information for ways to reach me for help or for setting up your workshops. I have several openings this summer, so please let me know soon regarding the dates you would prefer.

I am immediately available for your publishing needs. All work is guaranteed and I work very closely with authors.

The mission of Genesis One Designs is first and foremost to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and shine His Light throughout a sometimes dark and frightening world.

I believe that all people are creative, but Christians are doubly so as we have the Spirit of the Creator in us; and He has given us the power to create  and infuse every portion of our lives with His Glory.

I inspire/teach people how to worship God through the creativity in us in some new and innovative ways. Bringing others to Christ is our chief commission in this life. There is no more positive way to do that than with beautiful and creative expressions.

My aim is to fulfill Proverbs 3:6 and "in all my ways to acknowledge him."
